This uncommon film simply showing matter-of-factly a girl sleeping beneath the shade of a tree is directed by Moriya Fumio who made his directorial debut with Manga-jima: The Island of Cartoon. He is also an actor as well as a screenwriter who wrote The Woodsman and the Rain among others. Yanagi Elisa, who also appeared in Manga-jima: The Island of Cartoon stars.
The nearly thirty-year-old daughter (Yanagi) of a used car shop owner lies in a hammock within a grove behind her house. She neither gets up nor sleeps, but muses to herself. Before she realizes it, she begins dozing off. Today, the sun is setting again.
