Winner of the Best Lead Actress of a Foreign Language Film Award at the Madrid International Film Festival 2019, this survival story was independently funded by director Sono Kenichi who has worked in television and commercials.
Shiho (Yamaya Kasumi) makes her home at a Tokyo internet cafe. One day, she is told by a fortune-teller on a street corner she's never met before, "You were here twenty-five years ago, too." Shiho wonders who the fortune-teller could be talking about. This trivial doubt will cause a situation that entirely upends Shiho's common sense.
