Yoshida Keisuke, the director known for HIME-ANOLE among others, wrote the screenplay for this ambitious work about boxing, which he has continued to practice for over thirty years. It depicts the lives of boxing contenders who give their all-out-effort even though there is no guarantee of success.
Urita (Matsuyama Kenichi) loves boxing more than anyone, but continues to lose. Meanwhile, his younger rival Ogawa (Higashide Masahiro) is close to becoming the Japan champion and is preparing to marry Urita's childhood friend Chika (Kimura Fumino). Though everything he's ever wanted is within Ogawa's grasp, Urita continues to work toward his dream.
