[ Story ]
Documentary exploring the reasons why people fight through the stories of Japanese people trying their hand at lethwei, the Myanmar traditional martial art. Imada Tetsushi last directed a documentary 16 years ago with Kumazasa no igon.
Lethwei is said to be the world's most dangerous martial art. The film project got started in 2016 documenting fighters and people involved in competitions. Rather than focusing on elite fighters, the film portrays "lost" individuals including ex-gymnast Kaneko Daiki and Tokeshi Kohei, who is trying to relaunch his career.
