A modern, bold remake of "The Key," the masterpiece from literary giant Tanizaki Junichiro, which has been made into a film many times. Inoue Hiroke, who studied under Ishii Teruo, directed and wrote the script.
Middle-aged university professor Kanda Naoki (Mizusawa Shingo), who despite loving his younger wife Ikuko (Masuda Yuki), is troubled by his fading ability to satisfy her sexually. One day, Naoki becomes sexually aroused by Ikuko's sexual advances toward his student Kimura (Mizuishi Atomu), and sets up a situation that brings his "wife" and "student" together.
