A film adaptation of Kosaka Ruka's novel of the same title, co-written by Okada Yoshikazu and Watanabe Mako and directed by Fujii Michihito (The Journalist). RADWIMPS, of your name. and other Shinkai Makoto films fame, are in charge of the music, including the theme song.
20-year-old Matsuri (Komatsu Nana), who has decided not to fall in love after learning that she has only ten years to live due to an incurable disease, runs into her former classmate Kazuto (Sakaguchi Kentaro) by chance. As the two quickly grow closer, Matsuri's illness is progressing, but she is unable to tell Kazuto about it.
