Shinji Higuchi helms this film featuring Japan's beloved superhero in contemporary society with Shin Godzilla director Hideaki Anno serving as producer, screenwriter and supervisor.
Mysterious Kaiju monster appears. Conventional weapons are useless, so the exasperated Japanese government assembles a team of specialists to deal with the situation. During a Kaiju attack, a silver giant suddenly appears from the stratosphere. Analyst Asami (Nagasawa Masami) is newly deployed to deal with the giant.
