The directorial debut of Kanazawa Tomoki, who has written and directed mainly TV and stage plays, such as the TBS drama "Naoki Hanzawa."
Set in 1980s Nagasaki, this coming-of-age film depicts "one summer" in the lives of two boys on an adventure together.
Hisada (Banke Ichiro) is a fifth grader living with his loving parents (Takehara Pistol and Ono Machiko) and younger brother. One day, he decides to go to "Boomerang Island" to see dolphins with Takemoto (Harada Konosuke), who is not well-liked in his class. They get into a lot of trouble, but their friendship grows...
