Nozomi (Sakurada Hiyori) is in her second year of high school and finds a letter that says "I like you!" in her desk. It is from Setoyama Jun (Takahashi Fumiya), the school heartthrob. Although she wonders if it might be a prank, she puts her reply in his shoe locker and they start exchanging diary entries in secret. But it turns out the letter and diary entries were intended for her best friend. Unable to bring herself to reveal the truth, Nozomi continues their correspondence.
