Tenth feature film by masterful director Somai Shinji, who passed away in 2001. This drama deals with the unsettled emotions of an 11-year-old girl whose parents live apart and are about to get divorced. Shot by Kurita Toyomichi, who also works in the US film industry.
Sixth-grader Renko (Tabata Tomoko)'s parents start living apart. Frustrated by being stuck between her bickering and selfish mother and father, she tries to get them back together by dragging them on a trip to revisit Lake Biwa.
