This is the second feature film by director Chika-ura Kei, who made his debut with Complicity. Actor Fuji Tatsuya, who is collaborating with the director for the third time, became the first Japanese to win the Best Actor Award at the 71st San Sebastian International Film Festival.
Taku (Moriyama Mirai) receives the news that his father Yoji (Fuji Tatsuya), who abandoned the family when he was a child, has been arrested by the police.
