This documentary tells the story of Qi Furui (Fumin Mama), who was born and raised in Japan by her Taiwanese parents, and her small Chinese-style home-cooking restaurant, "Fumin". It follows Qi Furui's family in Japan and Taiwan over a period of three and a half years, using numerous testimonies.
"Fumin" was opened in 1971 after a friend commented. Why has "Fumin" continued to be loved for fifty years? And what is the origin of Fumin Mama's cooking and the story behind the creation of various menus?
