[ Story ]
This is the second theatrical film outing for the TV drama series ‘Mentai Piriiri', which won the Japan Commercial Broadcasters Association Award for two consecutive years. As per the previous film, Eguchi Kan (The Fable) directs.
At Fukunoya, a grocery store in Fukuoka's downtown district of Nakasu, owner Umino Toshiyuki (Hakata Hanamaru), his wife Chiyoko (Tomita Yasuko), and employees are busy working. Then one day, a takoyaki (grilled octopus balls) stall opens in front of the shop. The employees protest that it interferes with their business, but Toshiyuki and Chiyoko welcome the stall owner, Tsuru (Yo Kimiko), with a smile.
