[ Story ]
Aoyama Shinji's feature film directorial debut. Coming-of-age drama produced as part of the third season in WOWOW's J・Movie・Wars and shot in Kitakyushu, the director's hometown.
In 1989, Kenji (Asano Tadanobu) is an aimless high school student idling away his time as graduation approaches. He meets up with Yasuo (Mitsuishi Ken), a yakuza out on parole after four years in prison. Yasuo can't deal with news of his gang's demise and the leader's death, so he leaves his little sister in Kenji's care and goes to find out what happened to the boss.
