Human drama produced by Hori Tomoko, whose own daughter was diagnosed with leukemia and whose family helped overcome the condition. The story is based on real-life experiences and cites the importance of bone marrow transplantation and donor registration.
Kaede, an 11-year-old girl, collapses suddenly in class and is diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. With the emotional support of Yoshi, a boy in the bed next to her, who is also fighting the same disease, she is able to endure painful chemotherapy and radiation therapy every day. Meanwhile, Yanai Kengo (Choi Cheol-ho), who runs an IT company, loses his beloved daughter to leukemia.
