[ Story ]

A human drama directed and written by Yoshida Daihachi, known for his works such as Kiba: The Fangs of Fiction. This film won the Tokyo Grand Prix at the 37th Tokyo International Film Festival.
77-year-old Watanabe Gisuke (Nagatsuka Kyozo) has been widowed for 10 years since he retired from his job as a university professor, and lives in a Japanese-style house that has been around since his grandfather's generation. Everyday life passes peacefully as he faces the coming day, calculating how many more years his savings account will hold out and how many years he himself has left. No more unfinished business, but then one day, a disturbing message pops up on the screen of his iMac in his study, "The enemy is coming."
