Seventh feature film from director Fukuma Kenji, who unexpectedly passed away in April 2023. Fukuma himself played the role of Terada in this drama about his interactions with a girl.
Nanami (Kurumi), a second-year junior high school student, lives alone with her mother. She is skipping school once again when she meets the newly widowed Misaki (Masaki Sawa) by the riverside, and they hit it off. Meanwhile, Terada (Fukuma Kenji), a former sailor who lost his wife when he was young, joins the "relaxation bench" where elderly people gather to eat and drink. There, he happens to meet Nanami as she passes by.
