Entertaining film about the battle over Japan's last "normal house," now priced sky high since all other properties have become stigmatized. Helmed and penned by Naruse Kiyoto of Night of the Dead Geisha.
In near-future Japan, economic malaise has driven up the mortality rate along with the number of homes where someone has died, until all but one are tainted by trauma. Mogul Furano (Hiroyama Kotoha) is allergic to ghosts, and she teams up with property manager Nezu (Yamada Yusuke) to plot the eviction of Yamada (Osaka Kenta), the resident of Japan's last remaining "normal property."
