Directed by Ota Tatsunari of Bundesliga fame, which was selected for the PFF Awards in 2017, this drama captures a fleeting moment in the lives of a man and a woman who meet by a river. The film was invited to the Forum section of the 70th Berlin International Film Festival, as well as more than 10 other international film festivals around the world.
A woman (Ogawa An) visits a suburban town on a business trip for a travel agency and meets a man (Kano Tsuchi) who is skipping stones by a riverside. The two of them carefully assess the distance between them and before they know it, they are walking upstream together.
