Coming-of-age drama helmed by Shibata Keisuke, who garnered numerous honors at domestic film festivals for his short film Hitomazu Susume. Set in a provincial seaside town, the film depicts the halcyon days of an overseas exchange student girl and high school kids during their final summer vacation.
The summer of 2001. High school senior Hagio Ryo (Takahashi Yusuke) is spending his summer vacation with guys from school. One day, they meet Wang Ja Rin (Ogawa An), an exchange student from Taiwan who wants to be a dolphin teacher. This puts her at odds with Ryo, who dislikes both dolphins and the ocean.
