On January 8, 2004, a woman who went by the name "Hasumi" posted about her experience arriving at "Kisaragi Station," an otherworldly station that does not exist in this world, on the anonymous message board '2channel.' This sparked the widespread popularity of "Kisaragi Station" as an internet meme. In June 2022, the film "Kisaragi Station" was released, becoming a smash hit and a social phenomenon through internet buzz and word-of-mouth. And now... the new sequel "Kisaragi Station Re:" is here, set three years after the previous film, depicting the aftermath for Asuka, who returned from Kisaragi Station, and Haruna, who was left behind in that world!
