[ Story ]
A documentary co-directed by filmmaker Park Soo-nam and her daughter, Park Ma-eui. The film uncovers the silenced history of Koreans living in Japan.
Park Soo-nam is a second-generation Zainichi Korean filmmaker who turned 90 years old in 2025, and Park Maeui is her daughter. Using 16mm film footage that Park Soo-nam shot over the past four decades, the film reveals the untold stories of Korean atomic bomb victims in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, conscripted laborers taken to Nagasaki's Gunkanjima (Battleship Island), former Korean military personnel in the Battle of Okinawa, and women forced into sexual slavery for the Japanese military.
