Bingo (Tsumabuki Satoshi) has an affair with Mari (Fukatsu Eri), a lover of his gangster boss, Teshio (Nishida Toshiyuki), who controls the port town of Sukago. In order to have his life spared Bingo promises that he will bring a legendary hitman, "Dera Togashi", to his boss. Unable to find the man, Bingo hires an obscure actor, Murata (Sato Koichi), on the pretence that he is a film director. Murata, who believes that it is all part of a film shoot, gets right into the part of an assassin and fights with the real gangsters, however, he is captured in the end along with Bingo. It is only then that Murata realizes it is not a film shoot, but nonetheless, he gathers his fellow film crew to put on an act of a gun fight for Bingo who wants to recover Mari.
