[ Story ]
An extraordinary horror film referred to as a "picture-story anime" comprised of ink brush painting montage (all still images) and narration. Written, drawn and narrated by the animation creator Niiya Naoyuki. Cold-hearted Police inspector Haido, who came to investigate a brutal serial murder case, sets foot inside the area called the "hitokuiyama (human eating mountain)," a horrific hell hole filled with cries for help. Haido, however, encounters beautiful Haruko in a village located at the foot of the mountain. He regains the innocence of a baby through his interactions with her.
