The sixth in the series of film adaptations of the TV anime program that has captured high audience figures throughout the world, which follows the personal growth of the drop-out ninja, Uzumaki Naruto. It is based on Kishimoto Masashi's popular comic that has been serialized for more than 10 years in the magazine "Weekly Shonen Jump." The ninjas who defended the four countries of Cloud, Rock, Fog, and Sand have gone missing, while in Naruto's (voiced by Takeuchi Junko) own country of Fire, the ninja prodigy Kakashi (voiced by Inoue Kazuhiko) has also disappeared. As distrust and suspicion between the countries starts to grow, Naruto and his friends must find a way of protecting the peace.
