The fourth film of the ninja animation series, originally written by Kishimoto Masashi, which has also enjoyed great popularity overseas and is broadcast on TV in over sixty countries. The young ninja Naruto is transported back in time and meets the youthful fourth Hokage Minato. A young Kakashi, Naruto's teacher, also makes an appearance. Naruto (voice: Takeuchi Junko) who has been pursuing Mukade (voice: Otomo Ryuzaburo), a retired ninja, is enveloped by the leyline energy released by him and loses consciousness. When he wakes up, he finds that time has slipped and he is now in Rouran in its heyday.
