The ninth feature film based on the animated television series adapting Kishimoto Masashi's manga, which enjoys massive popularity around the world. It delves into the secrets surrounding Naruto's origin, and depicts his fierce battle with a mysterious masked man.
Years ago, the village of Konohagakure was nearly destroyed by an enigmatic mask-wearing man, but the parents of Naruto (voice: Takeuchi Junko) successfully defended it, at the cost of their lives. Years later, a band of ninja called the Akatsuki attack the village to gain the power of a magical nine-tailed fox that was imprisoned by Naruto. The masked man returns to declares war on Konohagakure, and when Naruto learns of his role in the death of his parents, he engages him in battle.
