[ Story ]
Volume two of the drama series starring the hero Shirley, a no good but lovable man who for some reason is popular among women. This is a prequel to the film Shirley no Koshoku Jinsei (*Shirley's Shaggy Life) directed by Sato Hisashi, and provides the background to Shirley's life. The director is Tominaga Masanori of Pandora's Box (Pandora no Hako). Shirley (Fukutsuya Kenzo) manages a bed and breakfast with his wife Namiko (Kasagi Izumi) on their island home, but he chases after female guest, Rie from Tokyo (Hirasawa Rinako) and goes missing. Rie has been seen acting suspiciously on the island, and in the background to Shirley's disappearance is a conspiracy involving the island's election.
