[ Story ]

This is the 11th film in the Cinema Kabuki series that shows Kabuki performances filmed with HD cameras on digital screens in film theaters. This was one of the farewell performances, the last before the Kabukiza theater was closed for rebuilding. Bando Tamasaburo's transformation from a bewitching beauty to a ghost is worth seeing. Minamoto no Yoritomo (Onoe Kikunosuke) and his retainer Watanabe Tsuna (Onoe Shoroku) come to exorcise ghosts and disclose the original form of the beautiful courtesan, Saikiku (Bando). She transforms into the terrible female spider ghost and displays some impressive moves on the stage.
