This live-action version of a popular girls' manga, by Shiina Karuho, recipient of the Kodansha Manga Award for her depiction of typical high-school life, which has also been made into an anime for television, is directed by Kumazawa Naoto, who also directed Romantic Prelude (Otonari). Kuronuma Sawako (Tabe Mikako) looks miserable on the outside, but is actually a positive-minded girl, who looks up to Kazehaya Shota (Miura Haruma), a sociable and friendly boy. Perceiving Sawako's good intentions, he secretly has feelings for her. Sawako meets Kazehaya and makes her first friends, Chizuru (Renbutsu Misako) and Ayane (Natsuna) but in comes Kurumi (Kiritani Mirei) proclaiming her love for him... Will Sawako and Kazehaya ever find out about each other's feelings?
