A bio-terror/samurai action piece. The film takes the audience through a gripping countdown to death as the Iga Ninjas fight warlord Oda Nobunaga and his army of Kouga Ninjas. By director Chiba Seiji, known for his cutting-edge samurai action pieces such as Ganryu Island (Ganryujima). It is year 9 of the Tensho Era. Three low ranking ninjas led by Kagitsume (Goda Masashi) are ordered to take a Kouga Ninja named Uzumibi (Kashiwabara Shuji) to the territory borders. Unbeknownst to them, Uzumibi is a bio-weapon carrying a deadly disease and Kagitsume and the others start to fall ill.
