[ Story ]
A battle movie produced by Japanese label Sushi Typhoon, which was set up to make films aimed at genre audiences in the United States and elsewhere, and features a stable of directors with a cult overseas fanbase such as Iguchi Noboru. Its action scenes were directed by Shimomura Yuji, who has gained considerable popularity abroad for his work on films including Versus. In the Warring States Period, an unidentified flying object from space crash-lands near the village of Iga, which is being targeted by the army of warlord Oda Nobunaga. At first, the ninjas of Iga believe the occupants to be a new wave of assassins sent by Oda, but they soon realize that they are actually fighting against aliens.
