An adaptation of a television series about the heartwarming interaction between a retiree in the autumn of his life and the stray cats that gather at his house. Rather than convert footage from 2D to 3D in post-production, it was filmed entirely with a 3D camera from the beginning. Its executive producer is Yoshida Naotake NEKO-TAXI. Nemoto Isao (Ibu Masato) has reached retirement age at 60, and all he can do is look after the house while his wife is out. One day, he unexpectedly finds himself stranded on the roof. No one is around to hear his calls for help, apart from the numerous cats in his house, and his uncommunicative five-year-old granddaughter...
