[ Story ]
This documentary deals with nuclear power and energy policy. After the film's release the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami struck, and as a consequence of the topical relevance the film has had a major impact, with additional screenings, new venues and grassroots screenings that continue even now. Director Kamanaka Hitomi's previous work Rokkasho Rhapsody presented diverse voices surrounding the issue of nuclear power. She covers the people on the small island of Iwaishima, where plans for a nuclear power plant are underway, and Sweden, which voted to phase out nuclear power. The film considers the future of energy policies for both countries from the frontlnes.
