[ Story ]
A socially-conscious drama that illuminates many of the problems currently facing Japan, such as suicide, economic inequality, and NEETs, as seen through the lives of today's young people. This is self-taught director Tanaka Joe's second film, for which he has written the screenplay as usual and also produces. Budding painter Okazaki (Kobayashi Katsuya) leads a self-indulgent life, living off the money he wheedles out of his mother and several other women. Midoriko (Miyamoto Issui) does her best to keep working, but never seems to stick with one job for long. When the two meet at an art school, they gradually find themselves becoming dependent on one another.
