[ Story ]
The feature-length debut of director Muramatsu Eiji, who started out in self-made films. This comedy, based on an original screenplay, depicts a hopeless couple living in a town on the Chuo train line in Tokyo. Shuntaro (Osako Ippei) decides to become a manga creator on a whim, and quits the company where he has worked for three years. His good-natured girlfriend Kiriko (Miyazawa Maki) is frustrated by his behavior, but continues to live with him. However, Shuntaro hits a setback surprisingly quickly, and one day when he develops stomach problems, he begins to cause trouble for the people around him.
