The first 3D movie version of , hugely popular in its original comic form and as TV animation. The straw hat from pirate Red-Haired Shanks has disappeared. Pirate Luffy (voice: Tanaka Mayumi) and his pals search frantically for the hat, and along the way rescue the elderly pirate Schneider (voice: Yamaguchi Tomomitsu) from a drifting ship. Then they spot a giant eagle carrying the straw hat. But a naval base lies ahead, and they launch into a fight that puts the Strawhat Pirates on the line.
