The 13th anime feature film based on Oda Eiichiro's adventure comic. The "Straw Hat Pirates," who aspire to be pirate kings, confront a conspiracy that has taken root on a gigantic golden ship-cum-city. Original story author Oda once again serves as supervising producer and the film earned 1.16 billion yen in its opening weekend.
Luffy (voice: Tanaka Mayumi) and his gang visit Gran Tesoro, a ship that is also an independent state. Luffy and crew are amazed by the flashy casino, but soon they figure out the scheme being run by the ship's proprietor Gild Tesoro (voice: Yamaji Kazuhiro).
