[ Story ]

Eighth installation in the Tomie series based on the horror manga by Ito Junji. Unfurls shocking depictions of blood and gore with the aim of creating the most loyal adaptation to date. Directed by Iguchi Noboru of fame, whose cult status extends overseas. Highschooler Tsukiko (Arai Moe) witnesses the accidental death of her beautiful older sister Tomie (Nakamura Miu), who appears suddenly before the family on her birthday the following year. Tsukiko becomes frozen in unbelievable spectacles. Tomie regenerates herself and Tsukiko is trapped in the depths of horror.
