3DCG animation adaptation of the Japanese fighting videogame series that has shipped over 40 million copies worldwide, following up on the animated and live action films. The heroine is a master of Chinese martial arts, whose fate becomes intertwined with an evil zaibatsu. Directed by Mori Yoichi, who was in charge of the opening movies for the fifth and sixth videogame installments. High school student-cum-martial arts expert Xiaoyu (voice: Sakamoto Maaya) is asked to track someone down and infiltrates a school in Kyoto. She moves in on her target, a youth named Kamiya (voice: Miyano Mamoru).
