[ Story ]
A film adaptation of a romantic television drama series that caused a sensation when it screened on NHK. It depicts the confusion experienced by a career woman in her forties who is being courted by a younger married man. It unveils new revelations about the devastating last few days in the television series' narrative, and reconsiders what went on from a different angle. On a visit to Malaysia, publishing producer Rui (Suzuki Kyoka) is reunited with her former lover Ko (Hasegawa Hiroki), a man 17 years her junior, for the first time since he left her suddenly five years earlier. However, after Ko is shot right before Rui's very eyes, his wife Marie (Fukada Kyoko) also arrives on the scene.
