The tenth entry in the second season of the "Youth H" series, which produces works with a strong auterist approach that focus on coming-of-age and sexual themes. This amusing and moving road movie follows a young man suffering from a broken heart who vows to make a fresh start in life after witnessing the devastation caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake. Jiro (Kumano Shinya), who struggles with poverty and romantic disappointment in the big city, learns that his workplace is to close down and sets off for the northeast Tohoku region on his motorbike. The sights he sees there have a profound effect on him and his wayward journey brings him into contact with various people, making him realize what is truly important in life.
