[ Story ]
A drama for family viewing that follows the voyage of space probe Hayabusa, which was widely reported around the world. It depicts the exploits of the project team and the emotional journey of their families, while also recreating Hayabusa's achievements in 3D. Hayabusa is launched in May of 2003, under the watch of assistant engineer Ohashi Kento (Fujiwara Tatsuya) and his fellow team members. However, its mission to collect samples from the asteroid Itokawa and return to Earth comes up against several difficulties.
