Set at a high school in the 1970s at the height of Japan's delinquent youth culture craze, this coming-of-age drama with a dynamic touch tells a story of rebellious young men who do nothing but fight. It is based on the book "Tokyo Furyo Shonen Densetsu" (Tokyo delinquent youth legend) by Endo Natsuki, who also co-wrote the screenplay. Sendo (Saitoh Takumi) attends a technical high school where the majority of the students are delinquents, and spends most of his time fighting alongside his best friend Hishikawa (Kubozuka Shunsuke). Eventually, Sendo is targeted by a third-year gang and gets caught up in a power struggle between warring factions to determine the 'boss' of the school.
