A drama portraying the life of Takehisa Yumeji, a painter who proclaimed himself "Japan's first pop-art artist". It details the love-hate relationship and ultimate separation from his wife, a "Bijin-ga" (paintings of beautiful women) model, as well as his elopement with the love of his life. In the director's chair is Miyano Keiji, who has been active in television commercials.
In the Taisho Era, Yumeji (Suruga Taro) lived with his wife Tamaki (Kurotani Tomoka) and son, but was unhappy with something about practical, everyday life. One day, he meets his soul mate, Hikono (Komiya Arisa), and loses himself to his love for her.
