[ Story ]
An unusual coming-of-age drama partly inspired by the life of Theodore John Kaczynski, an American also known as the "Unabomber" who killed and injured several people with his self-made explosive devices. Toyoda Toshiaki (The Blood of Rebirth) depicts the siege mentality and solitude of a young man who makes his own bombs. The protagonist is played by Eita, who made his film debut in Toyoda's Blue Spring. Kakiuchi Ryoichi (Eita) makes bombs in a remote mountain cottage cut of from the rest of society and sends them to institutions and corporations, with the aim of destroying the Japanese social system. Just as he is about to achieve his goal, he is visited by his older brother Yuki (Kubozuka Yosuke), despite the fact he committed suicide.
