Film adaption of the highly acclaimed TV drama that received honors including the 49th Galaxy Award. Story based on Taketomi Kenji‘s comic by the same name, which won an Excellence Award in the Manga Division at the 2007 Japan Media Arts Festival. Depicts a teacher struggling to create his ideal class using his own unique educational methods.
Japanese teacher Suzuki (Hasegawa Hiroki) is vexed by the upcoming season with lots of school events. One day, a graduate shuts himself up in a classroom, and takes as his hostage Ogawa (Tsuchiya Tao), a student who has been the object of Suzuki's special attention.
