[ Story ]

The third part of the "Golden Age" arc in a film series adapting Miura Kentaro's eponymous manga that enjoys worldwide popularity. Its depiction of mercenaries fighting in a fictional world based on medieval Europe is brought to the screen by STUDIO 4℃, the animation studio responsible for TEKKONKINKREET.
After being expelled from the country as traitors, Guts (voice: Iwanaga Hiroaki) and the Band of the Hawk go their separate ways before reuniting. They succeed in rescuing Griffith (voice: Sakurai Takahiro), but a lost "egg of the king" called a "Behelit" begins a terrifying 'hunger.'
