A film produced as part of the "New Directions in Japanese Cinema" project for 2012 operated by the Agency of Cultural Affairs to promote Japanese film and visual media. It is written and directed by newcomer Kobayashi Tatsuo, whose short film District won the Grand Prix at the 2007 Kyoto International Student Film & Video Festival.
A young foreign man (Chris McCombs) arrives in Kyoto in search of his Japanese ex-girlfriend. He enlists the help of guesthouse worker Asako (Kadowaki Mugi) and begins looking for his lost love, but meets a similar-looking girl named Rie (Ota Rina) and becomes infatuated with her.
