Nagasawa Masahiko delivers his first feature film since Faraway Heaven, which he directed 5 years ago, with this adaptation of screenwriter-cum-author Inukai Kyoko's novel by the same name. Music supervised by director Iwai Shunji, whose international activities include serving on the jury at Sundance.
Shimura Sakumi (Kurashina Kana) is in a car accident, and loses her memories from age 17 onwards. Hosomi Yoshihiko (Nakano Yuta), who seems to have been her boyfriend, and former classmate Oshima Kaoru (Kana) help her retrace a decade's worth of memories, but then she learns about a series of cryptic incidents.
